Electronics & assembly checks

Look beyond
the power button.

A scoped visual review of hardware, connectors, labels and assembly, with basic power-on or function observations only when safe and requested.

What we look at.

Labels & connectors

Compare visible labels, port layouts, connector types and supplied accessories with the agreed references.

Basic operation

Where safe and agreed, record accessible power-on and basic functional observations. State the method and its limits.

Visible assembly

Review accessible fasteners, cable routing, missing components and obvious workmanship concerns.

PCB visual review

If access is authorized and suitable, document visible board or solder observations against supplied drawings or reference photographs.

What you get from the check.

A physical evidence set and a focused list of hardware questions to resolve before you rely on the sample.

Prepare a useful brief.

  • Model, electrical ratings, intended market and clear power requirements.
  • A written list of basic functions to observe.
  • Battery details and any known handling hazards before shipping.
  • Written permission for opening or disassembly, if requested; relevant drawings or reference photos.
The scope matters. These are observational checks—not electrical safety, EMC, battery transport, software security, CE, UL or other accredited testing or certification. Unsafe samples are not accepted without prior written approval.
